I grew up in a "small" southern California town, enjoying summers on the lake and the beach. Ocean waves sound, look, and smell like home. I moved to Utah on a whim at 19 years old and quickly fell in love with the mountains and red rock. I had always doodled as a kid, writing and illustrating my own little storybooks but never dreamed I'd have the chance to pursue creating art for a living. Every day is something new, exciting, and challenging. Many of my abstract pieces are inspired by breathtaking beach sunsets around the world, serene mountains in my "backyard", and majestic red rock of southern Utah. When I'm not painting or working, you can usually find me exploring the mountains or the beach somewhere.
